Start of New Oil Painting – WIP
Started a new oil painting today. The reference is from another image in the Reference Image Library at WetCanvas. I did a detailed sketch of a photograph (using a grid) and transferred it to this 11×14 gessoed fiberboard that I’d already toned with Burnt Umber some time ago with graphite paper. Tomorrow I hope to start applying paint for the “dead” layer.
